How To Create You as Brand?
Whether you are in Company doing job or having own business, your Brand is created how you interact with your customers, colleagues, industry fellows, vendors, competitors, etc, what people say in your absence that matters, how much personal touch you have given in your service, are you empathetic in your dealings, do you show respect for other human beings. These all factors create your Brand, when you are in Leadership position, do you focus on self-interest or you focus on all stakeholders' interest that is Team, Company & Customer's because people tend to read between the lines & they know how your conduct is, they will show respect only because of your Title but they have not become your followers & at the very first opportunity when table turns or you are away from scene, they will tend to bring the clarity & make the things known to public or stakeholders so It's very important that we show integrity & are honest in our dealings. We need not to over-promise & under-deliver rather under-promise & over-deliver, it will make you stronger individual brand & people will remember you for long.
Many times, when we are with our clients, we tend to false claim about organization, product or service but when actually at the time of performance or actions, reality comes you are exposed & your whole individual Brand get tarnished & word of mouth spreads. It's both applicable in online, Social -media, professional platforms or Physical Meetings with our Clients so it becomes very vital that we depend on truth & don't just make fake promises. Very apt examples can be found from politicians' journey who makes false promises & thus they get defeated in the elections.
Similarly, in our Professional Journey whether we are entrepreneur or employee our commitment shows our Image to the Clients & Customers & our Brand is established.
